The Day You Return

Dear Seema,

Sometimes I imagine a quiet scene…

A flight slows down at Bhubaneswar airport. The doors open, and there you are—walking out through the arrival gate with that effortless, million-dollar smile. The kind that doesn’t try too hard, yet somehow makes everything feel right again.

Maybe you won’t even notice who’s watching. But that moment… it stays.

This journey of yours was never just about a transfer, a new office, or a new state. It has been something deeper—adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings, learning new rhythms, and standing strong on your own.

And the surprising part?

You made it look natural.

There’s a calm strength in you—quiet, composed, and steady. Not loud, not showy… just real. The kind that grows on people slowly, and once they see it, they remember it.

But let me say one thing you already know is coming 😄

Don’t skip your lunch.

Yes, work matters. Responsibility matters. But none of it works properly if you don’t take care of yourself first. A healthy and peaceful mind handles everything better. So take that small pause during your day—it matters more than you think.

And yes, maybe once in a while, you’ll still receive random messages or unexpected check-ins from me 😄

Just small reminders that someone back here quietly wishes the best for you.

Enjoy this phase.

A new city, new people, a different culture—these are not just changes, they’re chapters. Take them slowly. Absorb them. Live them.

Because one day, without even realizing it, this phase will become a memory. And you’ll look back wondering how quickly it all passed.

I’ve known you since 2019.

Back then, I wasn’t really close to you. Honestly, I wasn’t even confident enough to talk properly. Maybe I was afraid of saying the wrong thing… or maybe just a little afraid of you.

But over time, when I got to know you better, I saw a completely different side—gentle, composed, and quietly caring.

And somewhere along the way, I learned something important from you:

It doesn’t really matter what others think about us. What truly matters is what we think about ourselves.

That stays.

And if somewhere during this journey—from 2019 to now—I ever hurt you knowingly or unknowingly, I hope you’ll forgive me with a big heart.

And sometimes… I imagine one more scene. (After my surgery)

A simple one.

I’m standing at a railway station. You’re there too. But this time, something is different.

The elbow crutch that has been part of my every step for years… isn’t there beside me anymore.

For the first time, I’m standing completely on my own—steady, balanced, and smiling without thinking about every single step.

And then we meet.

Just a quiet moment.

No dramatic words. No noise. Just peace.

Maybe life gives that moment someday. Maybe it doesn’t.

But some thoughts are beautiful simply because they give us hope.

Until then, life keeps moving forward.

And I know you’ll manage everything there. You always do.

This message isn’t to remind you of your strength—you already have it. It’s just a small reminder to keep learning, growing, and becoming even stronger in this new place.

Meet new people. Explore new streets. Create new memories.

And whenever this new city feels unfamiliar or heavy, just remember—someone back here quietly wishes the best for you.

Take care of yourself.

All the best for your new branch and your new journey.

God bless you.

And when you return someday,
I hope that smile still looks exactly the same.

Yours,
Sukru (Venus)
